The mountains offer an excellent playground for several teambuilding exercises. Even without exercises your team will experience individual insights and team dynamics like never before.
Consider your team as a pack of wolves. They have to work together to survive (to be successful). The stronger members will need to support the ones who are less fit by literally taking some of their weight from their shoulders. (This is what will happen naturally and offers a very clear metaphor!)
Suggested exercises: Scavenger hunt with map and compass. Building a bridge over the river. Sharing a wild camping experience on the shore of a mountain lake or river. Making a fire. Swimming in ice-cold water (or just encouraging your team members). Paragliding. Building an igloo.
What’s for dinner?
Finding ingredients and preparing dinner could be an interesting exercise in itself…But we could also have dinner in a restaurant/mountain hut or having it prepared by our own chef!
